Does NightScape Lab denoise as well as Topaz?

It doesn't denoise at all, and that's deliberate. For a single frame (a daylight shot, one rescued exposure), Topaz is genuinely good and we happily concede that job. For nightscapes, NightScape Lab's answer is stacking: many real frames averaged together remove noise with real signal, so there's far less for any AI to guess at afterward.
